Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit Preview

The Oppo Find X10 series goes global on October 21. After sharing a first look and unboxing of both the Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max, we are now checking out the Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit made for the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. This quick preview covers what is in the box, how the accessories look and feel, and how much extra zoom the kit provides.

What's Included in the Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit

The kit ships in a large, heavy box, yet it holds only six items:

• The teleconverter lens
• A MagSafe-enabled case
• A lens mounting plate for the case
• A compact strap
• A carrying pouch
• A tripod collar

The strap connects to the case with quick-release clips, so you can detach it whenever you like.

Design and Case: Hasselblad Orange Accents

We are big fans of the Hasselblad orange accents, which appear on every item in the kit and even show up on the inside of the case. The case is also suitable for everyday carry, because the lens mounting plate can be removed. Keep in mind that when the plate is fitted, it covers the other two non-zoom lenses on the Find X10 Pro Max, leaving you with a zoom-only setup.

Teleconverter Lens: Grip and Finish

The teleconverter itself has a matte-style finish that feels remarkably grippy in the hand. What makes this notable is that the lens barrel shows no visible texture or knurling, so it is not obvious how Oppo and Hasselblad pulled it off.

Zoom Range of the 3.28x Teleconverter

The teleconverter is a 3.28x unit, so it extends the Find X10 Pro Max's native 3x zoom to just over 6x. Assuming the specifications of the Chinese model carry over to the global version, the kit delivers roughly 230mm in 35mm-equivalent terms.
