vivo V80 FE Certified in Indonesia: Launch Expected Soon
The vivo V80 FE (model V2624) has been certified by Indonesia's SDPPI, hinting at a near-term launch. See what we know and how the V70 FE sets the bar.
vivo's V80 lineup is still expanding. The standard V80 launched just a few days ago, following the V80 Lite that became official last month, and now another model, the vivo V80 FE, has surfaced in the certification records of Indonesia's SDPPI. The listing points to an upcoming release, although it reveals very little about the phone itself.
What the SDPPI Listing Reveals About the vivo V80 FE
SDPPI, Indonesia's telecommunications equipment certification authority, has certified a vivo smartphone with the model number V2624 under the commercial name vivo V80 FE.
However, the entry is sparse. Apart from the name and model number, it provides no specifications, features, or other information about the device.
Even so, the certification is a clear sign that the V80 FE is in the pipeline. Approvals of this kind usually appear shortly before a product reaches the market, so an official announcement should not be far off.
vivo V70 FE Specifications: A Look at the Predecessor
The V80 FE is set to succeed the V70 FE, which launched in March. Since no V80 FE hardware details are available yet, the previous model's specifications offer a useful point of reference:
- Display: 6.83-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 1260 x 2800 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate
- Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo
- Memory: 8GB of RAM
- Storage: 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB
- Rear cameras: 200MP main sensor and 8MP ultrawide camera
- Front camera: 32MP or 50MP selfie camera
- Battery: 7,000 mAh
Keep in mind that these figures belong to the V70 FE. The specifications of its successor have not been confirmed.
What to Expect Next
For now, the SDPPI certification confirms only that the vivo V80 FE exists and that its arrival is approaching, adding another member to the V80 series alongside the V80 and V80 Lite. Details such as its design, hardware, and pricing will remain unknown until more information emerges, whether through further certifications, leaks, or an official announcement.
Stay tuned for updates as more details about the vivo V80 FE come to light.
