Honor X9e Pro Launches With 11,000mAh Battery and 10,000-Nit Display

Honor has officially introduced the new Honor X9e Pro in Malaysia, bringing a combination of an exceptionally large battery and a high-brightness AMOLED display. The smartphone stands out with an 11,000mAh battery and a display capable of reaching an advertised 10,000 nits peak brightness under specific HDR conditions.

11,000mAh Battery With Silicon-Carbon Technology

The Honor X9e Pro is equipped with an enormous 11,000mAh battery, matching the typical capacity found in the Honor X80 Pro Max, which was launched earlier in June. Both smartphones also share several core specifications.

Honor achieves the large battery capacity through silicon-carbon anode technology. According to the company's laboratory testing, the phone can provide more than 164 hours of music streaming, around 35 hours of short-form video playback, and over 66 hours of standard video playback on a single charge.

Honor also claims that the battery is designed to maintain its health for up to six years, based on average daily usage of approximately six hours.

For charging, the device supports 80W wired fast charging. It can also be used as a power source for other devices through 27W reverse wired charging.

6.8-Inch 1.5K AMOLED Display

The Honor X9e Pro features a large 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a combination of sharp visuals and smoother scrolling.

One of the phone's headline specifications is its 10,000-nit peak brightness. However, Honor notes that this maximum level is only achieved in limited areas of the display while playing HDR video rather than across the entire panel.

108MP Main Camera and Upgraded Selfie Camera

On the front, the X9e Pro features a 16MP selfie camera, representing an upgrade over the 8MP front-facing camera found on the Honor X80 Pro Max.

The rear camera system includes a 108MP primary sensor with a 1/1.67-inch sensor size, accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide camera.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Up to 512GB Storage

Under the hood, the Honor X9e Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

The smartphone also carries an IP69K rating for protection against water and dust ingress. Honor says its laboratory testing included an extensive series of 100,000 repeated water-submersion tests, highlighting the device's focus on durability.

On the software side, the X9e Pro runs MagicOS 10, based on Android 16.

Honor X9e Pro Price and Colors in Malaysia

The Honor X9e Pro is available in four color options:

• Royal Purple
• Reddish Brown
• Dawn Gold
• Midnight Black

In Malaysia, pricing starts at MYR 1,899 ($464) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The higher-end model with 512GB of storage costs MYR 2,399 ($587).
