Apple is reportedly preparing a new generation of its entry-level iPad, with the upcoming tablet expected to arrive around **spring 2027**, roughly two years after the current model launched in March 2025\. A new report has now revealed several key specifications of the upcoming device, based on details reportedly discovered within Apple's software code.

## A19 Chip and 8GB of RAM

The next entry-level iPad is expected to receive a significant performance upgrade, with Apple reportedly planning to equip it with the **A19 chip** and **8GB of RAM**.
