Huawei has introduced four new smartphones in its **Mate 90 series** in China, with the Mate 90 Pro Max and Mate 90 RS positioned as the most powerful models in the lineup. Both devices are equipped with Huawei's latest **Kirin 9050 Pro chipset**, and a newly published Geekbench result provides more insight into its CPU and GPU configuration.

Although Huawei has not disclosed extensive technical details about the Kirin 9050 Pro in its official promotional material, the latest benchmark listing gives us a clearer picture of the processor's architecture and performance.

## Kirin 9050 Pro Geekbench Performance

The **Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max (CMM-AL10)** recorded an average score of **1,317 points in the single-core test** and **5,381 points in the multi-core test** on Geekbench 7.

The highest scores currently recorded for the device are **1,528 single-core points** and **6,169 multi-core points**.

Based on these results, the Kirin 9050 Pro's CPU performance appears to sit between the **Snapdragon 8 Gen 1**, introduced in 2021, and its successor, the **Snapdragon 8 Gen 2**. Actual performance can vary depending on software optimization, thermal conditions, and benchmark runs.

## Kirin 9050 Pro CPU Configuration

Geekbench also provides details about the processor's core configuration. The Kirin 9050 Pro reportedly uses a **nine-core CPU** featuring a high-performance Prime core clocked at **3.1GHz**.

The configuration includes:

- **1× Prime "Ultra" core:** 3.1GHz
- **6× performance cores:** 2.7GHz and 2.2GHz
- **2× efficiency cores:** 1.75GHz

This combination is designed to balance demanding workloads with power efficiency, although real-world battery life and sustained performance will depend on the overall device design and software optimization.
